How Are You Showing Up and Speaking Up? This is an important question that I want you to consider. Because it’s impacting the impressions people are creating of you, your ability to own your knowledge, expertise and credibility, and is greatly influencing how you are being considered as “ready”, or NOT, for your next big opportunity.
At the end of the day, we aren’t just speaking to speak, we want to move others with the words we speak, be it to a specific perception or impression, to a new point of view, or to take a course of action.
In order to do this, we must understand a bit about the human psychology that allows us to create more know, like, and trust with the people we interact with. We also need to know specific techniques to use with our communication style: how we are Showing Up in our body language and how we are Speaking Up in our verbal delivery, to tap into the neuroscience of influence.
